Welcome to Attributions Support API (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This privacy policy describes how we might use, process, and store your information when you use our application (“Attributions Support API”).

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you use the Application. The personal information we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Application, the choices you make, and the products and features you use.

Personal Information Provided by You: We may collect names, email addresses, and contact preferences necessary to execute the application’s functions.

Information Automatically Collected: We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Application. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, and other technical information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our Application for a variety of business purposes, primarily to facilitate the onboarding process for our agency services. Specifically, we use the data:

  • To facilitate Google Tag Manager account configuration.

  • To manage user permissions within your Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager accounts.

  • To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Google User Data: Scopes, Retention, and Deletion

This section explicitly covers our use of Google User Data accessed via Google APIs.

Requested Scopes: Our application requires the following specific Google API scopes to function:

  • .../auth/userinfo.email (To identify the logged-in user)

  • .../auth/analytics.manage.users (To add our support email as an admin)

  • .../auth/analytics.readonly (To locate the correct account/property)

  • .../auth/tagmanager.manage.users (To add our support email as an admin)

  • .../auth/tagmanager.readonly (To locate the correct account)

Data Retention Policy (No Storage): Our application does not permanently store your Google User Data (such as your Google Analytics or Tag Manager account details, token data, or personal information) on our servers or databases. The data is processed in real-time solely to execute the specific API request (granting admin access to our agency). Once the session is closed, no data remains in our systems.

Data Deletion Policy: Because we do not store your Google User Data, there is no archival data to delete. If you wish to remove the connection between your Google Account and our application, you can revoke access at any time via your Google Account security settings at: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Limited Use Disclosure: Our application’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not share your Google User Data with any third parties, nor do we use it for advertising purposes.

4. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We do not share your personal information or Google User Data with third parties, except in the following limited situations:

  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

5. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Effective Date” and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. We encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
